Customer first
Roadmap priorities come from mill floors, not from what is easiest to build.
CloudMill began in 2010 as an internal tool for a single feed mill in Bogura that could not make a generic accounting package tell it the cost of a bag. Sixteen years later, 420+ mills run on it.
The first version was a stock and batch register written for one plant. What made it useful was not the technology — it was that the person writing it had to answer to the same production manager every morning.
That is still how we work. Every feature is validated on a live mill floor before it ships, and our support engineers have all spent time in a plant. We would rather ship one thing that survives a night shift than ten that demo well.
Give every mill — not just the largest groups — the operational visibility that decides whether they make money this season.
No commission-driven upsell. If a smaller plan fits your mill, we will tell you so and put it in writing.
We have deliberately never diversified away from agro-processing. Depth in one industry has been worth more to our customers than breadth across many.

Multi-output yield costing added so paddy could be split across head rice, broken, bran and husk.
Offline-first terminals introduced so gate and godown keep working through outages.
GST-ready accounting and regional support teams in Kolkata and Chennai.
Mobile owner dashboards and scheduled reporting across the whole customer base.

New capability only ships if it survives a real shift on a real plant.
Clear pricing, honest timelines, and we say so when something is not a fit.
Software that stays fast and correct at three in the morning on a slow connection.
Between them, over 70 years spent in and around milling operations.
